![]() ![]() The alternative is using the OpenMW engine, which replaces Morrowind.exe completely with a new open-source engine. The Morrowind Graphics Extender is not a bug-fix, but I consider it a must have if you're still using the original Morrowind engine. I highly recommend it along with one of the above. This is not an ESM/ESP file, but rather patches that change the Morrowind.exe executable to fix many issues. Version 1.6.3b here is a decent way to go.Īn alternative version now exists called Patch for Purists, but it is multiple files, which makes it somewhat of a pain, since Morrowind is limited to 255 plugins and there are no ESL/ESP-FE files to get past that limit. So people disagree on what the ideal version is to use. Eventually the patch started making some odd balance changes that weren't really bugs and it became controversial. There was a big Unofficial Patch that was much beloved. Yes, but it is a slightly more complicated answer. ![]()
